A simple observation led to what is now a game-changing app in the world of speech enhancement.

Dr. Sharpe’s father-in-law was struggling with the classic “cocktail-party effect.” Our brains have an uncanny ability to pick out a voice in a noisy crowd – until we start to suffer from hearing loss. Even mild hearing loss can make distinguishing speech within noise an impossible task. While hearing aids can work wonders, they don’t completely solve the problem of clarifying speech within noise. There had to be a better way.
